The more I travel, the more I love Dubai: New campaign celebrates social media stars who call the city home

Dubai is home, away from home, for thousands of expatriates who have travelled to the emirate to see their dreams come true. People fall in love with the city at first sight.

Be it businessmen, social media influencers or celebrities, many expatriates have made it big and made Dubai their home; connecting emotional with the city of opportunities.

“Many people who have come to Dubai, don’t want to go back to any other country and the same thing happened to me. The more I travel the world, the more I love Dubai. Wherever I go, I want to come back to Dubai. Thanks to UAE leaders for the opportunities that they have given us,” says Rizwan Sajan, founder and chairman of Danube Group.

Sajan was speaking at the launch of the “My Dubai, My Home” campaign, which was launched by Danube Properties in partnership with Khaleej Times, to recognise top social media influencers, celebrities and YouTubers who have made Dubai their home.

Top social media influencers and YouTubers from a variety of fields such as Mo Vlogs, Jumana Khan, Nina Ubhi, Ahmed Mokbel, Sadiq Ahmed, Ritu and Rinky, Kelvin Cheung, Ahmad Haffar, Vlada and Virdah Khan attended the event.

A study conducted by the UK-based firm Online Mortgage Advisor ranked Dubai among the world’s top 25 most beautiful cities.

Sharing his personal experience and his love for Dubai, Sajan said when he landed at the Dubai International Airport 29 years ago, he felt at home.

“After Iraq invaded Kuwait, I moved to Dubai. When I landed 29 years ago and the security personnel checked my passport, he spoke to me in Hindi/Urdu and asked me ‘kaisa hay’ (how are you). I fell in love with Dubai because I felt at home. I am away from India but don’t feel like I am away from my home country,” says Danube Group founder.

“From the day I landed till today, I am happy that I have made Dubai my home. I would never leave this country,” says Sajan.

He said the emirate offers stability, security, business-friendly environment; hence it is easier to settle down here not just for Asian but European nationals as well. “Plus, there are no taxes here. And all these aspects make people feel comfortable.”

Social media influencers and YouTubers also credit Dubai’s safety, security, growth opportunities and other aspects as a major attraction to make the emirate their home.

Danube Properties appoints Naresco as the main contractor for the delivery of Skyz Tower at a value of 475 million dirhams

Danube Properties announces the appointment of Naresco Contracting as the main contractor for the construction of Skyz Tower, a Mediterranean-themed high-rise residential tower with elegantly-designed apartments, retail outlets and recreational facilities with a development value exceeding Dh475 million.

Skyz will be developed at a 67,837.39 sqft plot of land at Arjan, close to the Miracle Garden with easy access to Mohammed Bin Zayed Highway. The tower overlooks Miracle Garden, Arabian Ranches and Motor city communities. The affordable homes come with Danube Properties’ trend-setting 1 percent payment plan that helps middle income tenants and end-users to easily acquire their dream homes.

Danube’s new 270-unit Dubai residential tower sold out

UAE – Leading UAE developer Danube Properties has announced that its AED350 million ($95.2 million) residential project, Gemz, featuring 270 apartments loaded with 30 luxury amenities at Al Furjan community, has been fully sold out within hours of its launch.

The project which comes in pyramid-shaped architecture, offers spacious homes and floor plans with unique convertible layouts – so much so that a one-bed apartment can be made into a two-bed unit and the same can be turned into a three-bedroom unit, said the statement from Danube.

Gemz is the third residential project to be launched and sold out by Danube Properties since October last year and the second within two months after its AED300 million Pearlz project in Furjan got sold in March.

All units at GEMZ were snapped up by end-users and brokers on the first day of its commercial sales launch event held at Danube Properties head office on Sheikh Zayed Road on June 4.

“This demonstrates the buyers’ confidence in Danube Properties – as we continue to deliver promises to a growing number of UAE residents who are our biggest strength and inspiration,” said Founder and Chairman Rizwan Sajan.

“This is our third project launched and sold out within eight months’ time – and reflects the positive market sentiment and the fact that more buyers are entering the property market,” he noted.

Its 1 percent monthly payment plan also helped in driving the sales as it gave customers the opportunity to buy affordable luxury homes with prices starting from AED550,000, stated the developer.

The project with a built-up area of 530,000 sq ft, will be developed at a plot area of 101,000 sq ft. The 14-storeyed project will host 24 studios, 74 one-, 114 two- and 42 three-bedroom apartments while 16 apartments are duplex.

“Buyers who booked and paid their initial deposit on the first day, will get their homes fully furnished on delivery, through its home furnishing and home improvement brand, Danube Home,” he added.

Dubai: Danube Properties’ Gemz project sold out within hours of launch

Demand for affordable property continues to stay strong in Dubai as Danube Properties’ latest Dh350 million Gemz project was sold out within a few hours of its launch.

The project was snapped up by end-users and brokers.

“This demonstrates the buyers’ confidence in Danube Properties – as we continue to deliver on our promise to a growing number of UAE residents who are our biggest strength and inspiration,” said Rizwan Sajan, founder and chairman of Danube Group.

This is the developer’s third project launched and sold out within eight months, reflecting positive market sentiment and the fact that more buyers are entering the property market.

As reported by Khaleej Times earlier, expatriates who intend to stay in the Emirates for a long-term period are increasingly shifting towards buying their own property in order to save on rents. Real estate industry executives and analysts say that this trend is mainly witnessed among the salaried class people who are in their 20s, 30s and 40s who are investing to hedge against inflation.

Danube Properties said it has delivered 11 out of the 17 projects announced so far.

“In terms of the number of units – we have so far delivered 4,556 units out of 8,272 units sold out. In terms of value, we have delivered Dh3.63 billion worth of homes to our happy customers, out of the total development value of Dh5.65 billion,” added Sajan.

Sajan said Danube Properties will start processing for long-term residency and Golden Visas for investors who fulfil the respective criteria, such as Dh2 million, Dh5 million and the Dh10 million ceilings – from September 2022, when the process starts.

With a built-up area of 530,000 sqft, Gemz will be developed on a plot of 101,000 sqft. The 14-storeyed project will host 270 apartments, including 24 Studios, 74 1BHK, 114 2BHK and 42 3BHK apartments while 16 apartments are duplexes.

Danube launches new project, offers to process Golden Visa to investors

Danube Properties on Tuesday launched Dh350 million pyramid-shaped architecture Gemz in Al Furjan which comes with 30 amenities.

The company’s 16th project, which houses 270 apartments, comes with unique convertible layouts that allow one bed-room unit to be made into a 2BHK and 2BHK into a 3BHK and most of its apartments come up with an in-built swimming pool that is equipped with aqua gym and anti-current machine.

Danube Properties also offers a one per cent monthly payment plan that makes it the best affordable luxury with prices starting from Dh550,000.

The 14-storeyed project with a built-up area of 530,000 square feet, will be developed at a plot area of 101,000 square feet. The project will go on sale on May 28 with construction set to begin in three months and it will be delivered in two-and-a-half years.

Rizwan Sajan, founder and chairman of Danube Group, revealed that his company will start the process for long-term residency and Golden Visas for investors who fulfil the respective criteria such as Dh2 million, Dh5 million and the Dh10 million ceilings – from September 2022, when the process starts.

“There is a renewed confidence of the end-users in Dubai’s real estate market with domestic as well as Indian homebuyers looking to own a second home in the city. The latest reform in visa and residency rules now make it easier for investors and buyers to secure residence visas and we are seeing a large number of buyers looking for suitable properties,” he added.

Gemz is the third real estate project to be launched by Danube Properties since October 2022 – and the second project within two months after launching the Dh300 million Pearlz project in Furjan in March 2022.

“The project is located in the heart of the city in an area which has a good number of schools, hospitals and shopping malls. We also kept prices at a very affordable rate and the payment plan was very simple. It’s only 10 per cent advance and one per cent per month,” Rizwan said during the launch of the project.

The company has appointed Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt as its new ambassador.

Anis Sajan, managing director of Danube Group, said any new property that the group launches is unique when compared to earlier ones. “Danube’s property is mainly for people who have been living in Dubai for a long time and want to own a property. This is an opportunity for them to convert their rent into monthly instalments.”
